So May was a bust. But June will be my month

Well, I didn't do so hot in May.   I only worked out a few times, like 4 and that was it.  I've eaten way to much crap, gained a few pounds back and generally feel pretty crappy about it.

But June is same as here, and its a good time to get myself back on track.  I got myself a day planner just for my workouts.  I literally have scheduled my workouts for the next 10 days.   And I'm going to start tracking my step/activity levels too.    Why?  Cause I'm lazy.

Yep I'm a lazy ass.  My favorite activities pretty much revolve around sitting.  Reading, playing video games, watching movies/tv, surfing the net.  All sitting.  So I need to increase my baseline activities.  I'll track for a week or two, then increase my daily steps by 500 each week.  Might make my weight loss a little easier to achieve if I was moving a little bit.

So I decided for the next 8 weeks I'm going to lift weights 3 times a week, and spin one day a week.   I'm pretty much decided to use this as a base for my lifting program.
I'm not going to follow it exactly how its written, but this will be a good base for my workouts. 

I've also gotten My Fitness Pal back on my phone and have really started to track my food again. Ok, so right now I'm tracking one meal a day.  Next week, I'll add tracking another.  Until I'm really tracking everything I eat.  I'm pretty sure I need to eat more protein.  I've really been slacking on getting my protein in. And I'm pretty sure that's one reason I'm up a couple pounds.

I think I have found my 2 favorite foundations ever.

I love this foundation, and it just expanded the color range, which is amazing!  Now I'll be able to wear this in the winter!!!  I've been LOVING this foundation this month.

And then I refound this one this winter.
OMG!  I forgot how amazing this is amazing. I need to pick up a shade darker for this summer. 

Then I need to declutter a few foundations that are not been used. I've got a few that I need to get rid of cause I just am not wearing them.  Maybe I should go do that right now, while I'm thinking about it.  I could at least get rid of three foundations.  I need to.

Longer blog today.  Should be as long as its been since I blogged.   I will do much better in June.  June will be my month!

Another Workout Challenge

So I did so well with my April workout challenge, I did get my workouts in, all 13, I decided to do it again in May. 

But I'm off to a slow start.  Like zero workouts so far.

I've been SOOOOOO tired all I want to do is sleep on my time off from work.  I'm hoping to do something tonight.  I got put on call tonight and I'm hoping to do a little walking on my treadmill followed by a bunch of foam rolling and stretching.   Pray I don't get called into work tonight lol.

I'm not 100% sure what my reward for hitting 13 workouts will be, but I am leaning towards a Wayne Goss brush set.  Or a Pat McGrath palette.  I'll decide later. 

Work has been a bit of a bitch.  Lots, I mean LOTS of very sick people.  Not just kind of sick, but like "are they gonna die" sick.  And way to many of them.    Its some better thank goodness.  But I'm sure all it has just enhanced my exhaustion. 

I can't wait to cut down to part-time. It will so much easier to get workouts in, when I'm not so tired, not strapped for time to sleep and go back to work.  And of course, be with my grandbaby!

My daughter's pregnancy is going very well!  She's having a girl and I'm very excited to meet my granddaughter.  Gonna be wonderful.

That's about it for now. For not blogging for a while, I don't really have much to say lol.
