I have decided not to make Resolutions. Everyone breaks them anyway, so why bother.
So I've made a few goals I will be working towards in this new year.
First, Crossfit 2-3 days a week at the box ( the Crossfit word for gym) and 1-2 days a week at home. I will have to work up to this as I've been a total slacker and working out 3-5 days a week right off the bat would kill me.
Second get my deadlift up to 300lbs. Yes, this will take some time, and probably won't happen until at least summer time, if not fall
Third. Run a mile without stopping to walk. Again, this will take a while. I'm pretty out of shape as far as cardio goes so I'm going to have to work at this.
Fourth Be a little more selective in my makeup purchases. I've had a few I've not been exactly happy with. Time to slow it down and get the ones I know I'll be really really happy with. I will still be looking for my holy grail of foundation of course. I'm still looking for that perfect foundation.
Fifth Be consistent with my eating Been eating a whole bunch of crap, which makes me feel like crap. I need to be consistent with healthy eating, which makes me feel better, and makes me look better. And not just weight, but skin, hair, nails. I just look better.
Sixth Do a pullup. I need to work on strength, and probably lose some weight to make it easier, but I want to do a pullup by the end of the year
Seventh Do toes to bar. Again, probably need to lose some weight to make it easier, but I will work on doing toes to bar
I've got a couple other, but I need to find out my one rep max for things like cleans, clean and press, squats so I can see where I want to go with them.
So there it is in plain view for whomever to see. My goals for this new year.
Lots of stuff going on - which is your #1? My goals are very simple - substitute a big cup of flavored water for a soda 2 times a day and get moving!
