So on Aug 24, her due date, we welcomed out granddaughter, Charlotte Fern. She's amazing! And I'm totally in LOVE LOVE LOVE with her.

We are now the main babysitters for her. I've managed to cut down to just a few days a month at work and try to time it so I'll be sleeping when mommy or daddy have the day off to be home with her. So far, its fantastic! She's a joy! She's so happy and well, loved lol.
And in other news, my hubby and I are early on in the stages of buying a new house. The one we have now, we are selling super cheap to our daughter and son in law. And of course Charli will be living here too lol.
Its a really nice house in the country and comes with about 10 acres which I'm thrilled about. This means I'll be able to have a horse again. I grew up on a big farm, and had horses all the time I was growing up. So the thought of riding again is a wonderful thing.

Its got a huge finished basement, and we are planning on putting a full gym down there, and a family/game room as well.
To bad I don't have the Infinity gauntlet so I could snap my fingers and just get everything moved without doing the work lol. Moving does suck but it will be worth it in the end.
And I've already started to declutter stuff. Less stuff I'll have to move. It will be a slow process, but in the end, so worth it.
But moving still sucks.

Doing the "Baby Watch 2019" is so hard!
So my oldest daughter is due with our first ever grandchild, a little girl, tomorrow.
I've been on "baby watch" all this week. And let me tell you, every time my phone rings , I about jump outta my clothes. Only to be disappointed that its a stupid robo call. She messages me the "is this normal" and I've gotten a few um, interesting pictures, cause being a nurse, she's sent me a couple pictures of the "is this ok" variety. Things that all lead to "that baby should be showing up soon" but so far. Nothing. Hurry up you little baby. Mommy, daddy, the grandparents and aunts all want to meet you! And everyone else want to meet you.
I joined a fitness challenge with my Peloton bike for the next 8 weeks. 3 rides a week. I'll do my 3rd tonight if I'm not called to the hospital. I'd rather be called to the hospital and make up the ride next week lol.
I need to get my butt back going cause I've gained back 7 of the 8lbs I lost. 😞😢 I can't believe I did that. I guess its better than gaining it all back and then some but still.
So maybe this challenge will help. I hope so.

I just don't want to "people" today.
Ever have a time,where thinking about being around people just makes you go
I'm having that day today. I just don't want to people today.
I was a very long night of work last night. Very long. Very busy. Just, not good. And today, I just refuse to people today.
So I'm sitting in my house, with my pets watching lame tv. Cause I can. Hubby is at the local county fair watching the Demolition Derby, and I'm alone with the pets watching lame tv. And its amazing.
Tomorrow hubby and I are going to Des Moines to pick a few things up we can't get in our home town. And go out to eat. I'm trying to decide if I want to pick something up for myself, like new workout shoes. I need more workout shoes like I need more cats, but I want new workout shoes, lol. Or something. Maybe I'll look at some.
Maybe new workout shoes or something fitness related will help get my butt more on track. I'm just flailing around. I've been kind of lazy, just not doing what I need to do. I don't know why! I need to get into better shape, and better health. I just can't seem to get it together more than a couple days in a row. I really need to work on this. Work on not only my motivation, but my dedication to getting myself in better health. Maybe when I go part-time at the hospital it will be easier for me. I won't be as stressed out and won't feel the need to just sleep to catch up on sleep.
I'm so thankful that I have a hubby who understands my need to be alone sometimes. People don't tend to believe me when I say I'm more of an introvert, but I have times I need to just be alone with no one around. Even if its just in my room. I just need to have alone time.
I think I just need to pick a workout plan and just stick with it for 4 weeks. How hard can it be to just pick one workout? I guess its pretty hard cause I can't seem to do it. Its like my brain goes "Ok, I'm going to do program x" then 2 hours later "no I want to do program A" then "no program 5 looks great" When they all are wonderful, and would give me results but I bounce around and don't start any of them, or I start one, for a week, then get all like "I wonder if this other program would be better"
Ugh, my brain wears me out sometimes.

August is gonna be AWESOME!
First off, I'm gonna become a grandma in late Aug! I can't wait. My granddaughter will be here soon, and I can't wait! Ok, I can cause I don't want her to get here early, but still. I am excited to get her here, hold her, kiss her, love her.
Then in mid Aug, I'm going semi part-time. I say semi cause the hospital I work at doesn't have part-time, which is STUPID! Its either full time, or casual, where you pick up shifts. Again, stupid, cause there are people who only want to work part time, but want the guaranteed hours cause casual doesn't have guaranteed hours.
But I digress. I will be cutting back on work, so I will be home more often. I will be able to babysit my little granddaughter. I will be able to spend time with my hubby. I will be able to do things more at home I'd like to do, but often feel to tired to do now. I will be able to workout more often. Blog more often. Make YouTube videos more often.
It's going to be so nice!
So, I've been slacking on my workouts. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to get back to at least 3 workouts a week. Through the summer, I'm going to do my dvd/streaming workouts with spinning via my Peloton. Then this fall/early winter I'll lift heavy again. I think I want to focus on Cathe, Jari Love's Ripped series, and my old Firms They always help get my into shape. Cathe has some of the best workouts on streaming ever, I think. I've also been looking on YouTube for some free content.
My daughter had her baby shower today. Gonna put some of the video I took in a video for my channel Might take a while to get all the stuff edited cause I've got a lot of footage lol. It was so nice and the kids got a really great head start on stuff they need for the baby!
I only have about 6 weeks left of full time work, and then I'll be free more often! AH, I can't wait! And in about 8 weeks, I'll have my grandbaby! I also can't wait!
Sitting here watching Friday the 13th part 2 lol. I love the old Friday the 13th movies. They are so fun to watch. I mean, they are hilarious! Some of the best comedy out there lol.

Starting off bumpy
So, I maybe have not quite gotten the eating healthier down yet lol. I've had ice cream two days in a row. Now I feel very bloated. Time to drink LOTS of water
Ok, so maybe not at all. But hey baby steps right? At least I got my macros all set up and know what I want to do. More protein. More water. Less salt.
Ok, so I put up a new video on my YouTube channel.
I spent $300+ at Ulta
Yep, a decent haul for myself at Ulta. If I ever would make money off my channel, well, first I'd do a BIG giveaway with my first ever check, but then I'd use any money I'd make on stuff to review.
That's a ways off, so its gonna be a while.
But first, I need to get back to reviewing stuff. I think I'll review this next.
Been wearing it a while now, and I think I'll do a wear test with it. Let's see, I have Wed off, so that would be a good day to film a decent wear test with it. I hope, anyway lol.
I've had some really good nights off, and I don't really want to go back to work. I can't WAIT until I can cut back to part-time. It will be so nice to only work 2 nights a week, not 2. Doesn't sound like much, but it will be for me.
Reading this book at the moment.

So May was a bust. But June will be my month
Well, I didn't do so hot in May. I only worked out a few times, like 4 and that was it. I've eaten way to much crap, gained a few pounds back and generally feel pretty crappy about it.
But June is same as here, and its a good time to get myself back on track. I got myself a day planner just for my workouts. I literally have scheduled my workouts for the next 10 days. And I'm going to start tracking my step/activity levels too. Why? Cause I'm lazy.
Yep I'm a lazy ass. My favorite activities pretty much revolve around sitting. Reading, playing video games, watching movies/tv, surfing the net. All sitting. So I need to increase my baseline activities. I'll track for a week or two, then increase my daily steps by 500 each week. Might make my weight loss a little easier to achieve if I was moving a little bit.
So I decided for the next 8 weeks I'm going to lift weights 3 times a week, and spin one day a week. I'm pretty much decided to use this as a base for my lifting program.
I'm not going to follow it exactly how its written, but this will be a good base for my workouts.
I've also gotten My Fitness Pal back on my phone and have really started to track my food again. Ok, so right now I'm tracking one meal a day. Next week, I'll add tracking another. Until I'm really tracking everything I eat. I'm pretty sure I need to eat more protein. I've really been slacking on getting my protein in. And I'm pretty sure that's one reason I'm up a couple pounds.
I think I have found my 2 favorite foundations ever.

I love this foundation, and it just expanded the color range, which is amazing! Now I'll be able to wear this in the winter!!! I've been LOVING this foundation this month.
And then I refound this one this winter.
OMG! I forgot how amazing this is amazing. I need to pick up a shade darker for this summer.
Then I need to declutter a few foundations that are not been used. I've got a few that I need to get rid of cause I just am not wearing them. Maybe I should go do that right now, while I'm thinking about it. I could at least get rid of three foundations. I need to.
Longer blog today. Should be as long as its been since I blogged. I will do much better in June. June will be my month!

Another Workout Challenge
So I did so well with my April workout challenge, I did get my workouts in, all 13, I decided to do it again in May.
But I'm off to a slow start. Like zero workouts so far.
I've been SOOOOOO tired all I want to do is sleep on my time off from work. I'm hoping to do something tonight. I got put on call tonight and I'm hoping to do a little walking on my treadmill followed by a bunch of foam rolling and stretching. Pray I don't get called into work tonight lol.
I'm not 100% sure what my reward for hitting 13 workouts will be, but I am leaning towards a Wayne Goss brush set. Or a Pat McGrath palette. I'll decide later.
Work has been a bit of a bitch. Lots, I mean LOTS of very sick people. Not just kind of sick, but like "are they gonna die" sick. And way to many of them. Its some better thank goodness. But I'm sure all it has just enhanced my exhaustion.
I can't wait to cut down to part-time. It will so much easier to get workouts in, when I'm not so tired, not strapped for time to sleep and go back to work. And of course, be with my grandbaby!
My daughter's pregnancy is going very well! She's having a girl and I'm very excited to meet my granddaughter. Gonna be wonderful.
