I need better camera equipment, period

So, when I started my You Tube channel, I got a rather cheap camcorder.    Now it works ok.  But I've noticed during some filmings, most I've scrubbed, I look redder than my hair.  I mean its horrible.  Others I look ok.   So I got out my old camera and I've filmed some on it, but its a few years old, and well, it shows.  The picture isn't good, and when I wear a bright colored eye shadow, it just simply doesn't show up. 

So, I need better equipment, period.  A nicer camera, and I'd like to get better lights for when I film.  I'm thinking Christmas presents!!!   Been researching some cameras, and have a few I'm gonna look more into.

Went to Des Moines today. Picked up a couple new outfits, not scrubs amazing enough.  And a couple things at Sephora, of course lol. This is one of the things I got today.

I'll have to really give it a good try over the next few days.  I'll let you know what I think.

I put a little on the back of my hand and not only did it seem like it has good coverage, it was nice and creamy. 

So, cause my video I filmed today has me looking kind of crappy, and really red, I'm gonna film another and hope to get it up tomorrow. A "Bedtime skin care routine" video.  I'll use my older camera, cause I won't be showing bright vivid colors, so it won't matter as much.

So off to do more camera research.  I want to find one that's less than $500.  I think the quality of videos will be so much better with a better camera set up.
