Ok, so today I wore a new foundation. Marc Jacob's Remarcable foundation. Here's what it looks like.
It sells for $55 for 0.75oz which is a lot of money for what is less than the usual foundation. That's why I have been reluctant to try it out until I got a 20% off coupon from Sephora. It came to me this last couple days and I did a review of it. I'm posting a video to my You Tube Channel tonight. I'll have a link off to the side if you want to watch.
I used Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer on my face then applied half with a beauty blender, then half with a brush. I liked the blender side better. I also put to much on I think. That made it get a little clumpy at the end of the day. But right at first, it looked amazing. Good coverage, even on my nose which never looks good with foundation on. Something about my nose and the oils on it makes pretty much all foundations look like crap and be very spotty on my nose.
I wore it for 6+ hours at the final review on my video. Still looked pretty good, just a little clumpy, but I'm really thinking I put to much on. I think with this foundation, less it more cause its pretty darn pigmented and gives good coverage with very little. That's a point in its favor for being more expensive for less, if you only have to use a few drops to get full coverage. So I'm going to wear it again, using far less, and seeing how it looks after several hours.
If you have skin like mine, normal on the cheeks, oily on the nose/t-zone, you might try this. I think you can get samples from Nordstroms and maybe Sephora. I know I'm pretty impressed.
